Fat Past The Lips Does Not Necessarily Equal Fat On The Hips
Being overweight can affect both your physical and emotional well-being,
putting serious strain on your body and causing a blow to your confidence and
self worth. If you are overweight, you have probably tried many different diets,
all of which were probably the standard low fat - low protein fare. You might
have even lost a little weight over a long - long period, but found low fat –
low protein too restricting to continue permanently and eventually you went back
to your old way of eating and the pounds piled back on with a few to grow on.
Dieting does not have to be a constant guilt trip to make it work, it only
takes common sense. The Atkins Diet, developed by the late Dr. Robert Atkins
over 30 years ago has been shaking things up and creating a virtual low carb
craze not to mention the fact that it taught me what I had been doing wrong for
so long. If you are interested in tips and information about The Atkins Diet and
the Low Carb Way of Life you will find it here.
A word of advice the Atkins Diet and the Low Carb Way of Life will force you
to change your entire outlook on dieting, especially the long perpetuated Low
Fat Myth – Fat is your friend on this way of life! Fat past the lips does not
necessarily equal fat on the hips! Carbs are usually the culprit. Oh! And if you
thought the Atkins Diet and Low Carb meant you’ll never eat a vegetable again
– You Were Wrong! Remember that the Atkins Diet is LOW CARB not NO CARB.
Having been low carb livin’ since 1-21-03 and 65 pounds lighter I can not
thank the late Dr. Robert Atkins enough for the body he has helped me achieve, I
only regret that he died so soon after medical studies finally showed he was
right all along. Why! Oh! Why did I wait so long to try it, if I hadn’t waited
so long I would have had this body by Atkins much sooner. Thanks Dr. Atkins!
